Bharat Aerospace Tech Park (BATP) is a visionary greenfield project in Andhra Pradesh designed to redefine India’s aerospace and defense manufacturing ecosystem. Backed by United Petro Group (Singapore) and Antipodean Projects International (Australia), BATP aims to integrate innovation, training, and sustainability into a world-class aerospace cluster.

About the project
Vision:
To position India as a global aerospace and unmanned systems hub—driving technological leadership, economic growth, and strategic autonomy.
Mission:
To establish an advanced Special Economic Zone (SEZ) and Defence Economic Zone (DEZ) for aerospace assembly, drone manufacturing, and aviation services aligned with “Make in India.”
Zones Overview
Zone 1 – SEZ: OEM Aircraft & Helicopter Assembly, Drone Manufacturing, and MRO.
Zone 2 – SEZ: Aviation University, R&D, Incubation, and Training Institutes.
Zone 3 – DEZ: Defense Drone Production, Civil & Military R&D.
Zone 4 – Aerodrome: Airfield, Pilot Training, Hangars, and Logistics Hub.
